On the occasion of the opening of the new center for advanced training in Industry 4.0 skills—the Philip Morris Institute for Manufacturing Competences (IMC)—we supported Philip Morris Italia in the creation of a new logo that reflects the institute’s mission and highlights its core attributes. We seized this opportunity by developing a macro-concept designed to enhance the value of the initiative, which aims to become a national benchmark in supporting the professions of the future.

CONCEPTUALLY DESIGNING AN EVOLVING SYSTEM


In approaching the project, we envisioned the new Center as a 4.0 ecosystem—a highly technological, forward-looking hub where every element and player is interconnected and constantly evolving. This vision outlines a true community, where sustainable development and innovation come together to generate shared well-being.

A COMPLETE AND CONSISTENT VISUAL IDENTITY


The concept was translated into a logo that, through its graphic features, visually evokes a set of key themes tied to the project: connection, future, and dynamism. To ensure a clear and consistent brand identity, we also developed a brand book and a full set of stationery materials, providing a cohesive and professional visual system across all touchpoints. The style and color palette were carefully designed to maintain continuity with the institutional identity of Philip Morris Italia, ensuring visual alignment and brand consistency across all elements.
